Frequently Asked Questions

 

One of the biggest misconceptions that people have is that once they are involved in an accident, they should call their own insurance company.  However, once you call your insurance company they file a claim on your policy.  Therefore, if you have been in an accident and someone else is at fault, you should contact that insurance company.  The faster you call in the claim, the quicker the repair process can get started.  If the person that causes the damage does not have insurance, then you should call your insurance company.

We are a direct repair facility for several insurance companies making the repair process as easy as possible.  For direct repair companies we will take photos, write an estimate and upload the completed estimate to the insurance company.  If a supplement is needed we also handle these just like the estimate.  We take photos, make the necessary changes to the estimate and upload it to the insurance companies.  Our direct repair insurance companies pay us directly, eliminating the wait time for payment.  We accept Visa, Mastercard, Debit Cards and personal checks up to $250.00.

 

HOW DO YOU WORK WITH INSURANCE COMPANIES?

We do repairs for ALL insurance companies. We are also a Direct Repair facility for several insurance companies.


DO I COME TO YOU FIRST OR MY INSURANCE COMPANY?

If you have major damage or the vehicle is not drivable, contact your insurance company first. The insurance company will do one of the following:

• Send an assignment to our shop to do a “direct repair shop” estimate and repairs, at which point we will contact you to have you bring the vehicle by for the estimate.
• Make an appointment with their adjuster for him to assess the damage and write his estimate. After that you may bring your vehicle and estimate to our shop.

If the damage is minor and you would like an estimate before you make a claim, come see us first. We will write you an estimate, free of charge.


WHAT IF MY INSURANCE COMPANY IS NOT ONE OF YOUR "DIRECT REPAIR" AGENCIES?

We work with all insurance companies and will be glad to repair your vehicle with their estimate.


IF THERE IS A BALANCE THE INSURANCE DOESN'T COVER, WILL YOU BILL ME?

We do not bill the vehicle owner. All monies owed are required before the vehicle is picked up. If we are a direct repair facility for your insurance company, they will pay us directly.


WHAT IF MY INSURANCE COMPANY MISSES SOMETHING?  DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR THAT?

If any additional damage is found that is accident related, the insurance company will cover those charges.
There may be a betterment charged by the insurance company that will be the owner’s responsibility. A
betterment is usually charged on a wear item such as tires, batteries and etc.


DO YOU PROVIDE A LOANER CAR?

We do not provide loaner cars, but we will gladly set up any rental needed. Any rental charges will be the responsibility of the owner or the insurance company.


HOW LONG IS IT GOING TO TAKE?

After the estimate is written an approximate completion date will be given. The completion date could vary depending on part availability. We give repair updates twice a week on all repairs.


ARE THE REPLACEMENT PARTS COMING FROM THE MANUFACTURER OF MY CAR?

Some insurance companies use only OEM(Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts, but many insurance companies use aftermarket parts to reduce the cost of the repairs. The aftermarket parts have a lifetime warranty by the vendor we use.


DO YOU DO ANY CUSTOM PAINTING?

We do not offer any custom painting. We only offer OEM(Original Equipment Manufacturer) colors and finishes.
